Direct hire Vice President of Program Development opportunity!

Our client is seeking a VP of Program Development to lead program strategy, strengthen service delivery, and drive long term organizational growth. This senior leader will play a key role in shaping programs, developing teams, and expanding community impact.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all program areas with a focus on long term strategy and innovation
• Develop and evaluate programs using clear metrics and performance standards
• Oversee hiring, training, and development of program staff
• Ensure regulatory compliance and support audit readiness
• Build strong community relationships and stay informed on sector trends
• Lead program budgeting and respond to funding opportunities
• Create and maintain program policies and procedures
• Drive continuous improvement and cross team collaboration

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred
• 10+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years in the social sector
• Senior level leadership experience building programs and driving impact
• Strong project management, communication, and conflict resolution skills
• Proven ability to lead teams, develop talent, and manage change
• Tech savvy and comfortable with Microsoft Office and web based tools
• Collaborative, mission focused, and able to build strong relationships
