Direct Hire Senior Accountant opportunity!
*Hybrid schedule available once training is completed*
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with GAAP
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and proforma development with the Controller and CFO
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
- Perform cost allocations and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Monitor cash flow and support treasury functions
- Complete bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial record.
- Oversee project accounting, including job cost analysis, AP/AR, billing, and subcontractor/vendor payments
- Set up projects and project codes for billing
- Build and maintain project codes to support accurate billing and reporting
- Support backlog projections and deeper job cost analysis
- Prepare project financial reports and WIP schedules
- Support month end close and other finance initiative
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial compliance
- Skilled in cash management, GL reconciliation, and financial analysis
- Experience with accounting software; Vantagepoint/Deltek is a plus
- Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Effective communicator with the ability to manage multiple priorities
