HVAC Service Manager Opportunity!
Position Summary
The Service Manager is responsible for building, training, and guiding the service team. This individual will oversee technician performance, manage scheduling, handle escalated customer issues, and maintain high service standards. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background in HVAC and proven leadership experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Train, coach, and mentor service technicians.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback.
- Ensure accountability to company standards and customer expectations.
- Act as the point of contact for escalated customer concerns.
- Support long-term customer satisfaction and retention.
- Manage the on-call rotation schedule.
- Provide technical support to technicians in the field.
- Track and report on department performance.
- Enforce safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with codes and regulations.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of HVAC service experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong technical knowledge HVAC systems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team.
- Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills.
- EPA certification required; additional certifications or licenses preferred.
