Machinist Opportunity!

1st Shift - Direct Hire position!

Job Summary: The position is responsible for fabricating individual parts and assemblies from simple to complex in a prototype environment

Responsibilities

• Fabricate parts to exact dimensional and angular print tolerances
• Occasionally assemble/disassemble simple fixtures and tooling
• This position requires the use of standard machine shop hand tools and measuring devices

Qualifications

• Experience using milling machines, lathes, and other machining equipment (manual and CNC-controlled)
• Experience choosing proper tooling and setting feeds and speeds
• Ability to interpret printed part drawings and 3-D part models
• Ability to interpret ANSI/ISO dimensioning and symbols, including geometric tolerancing
• Experience with conversational CNC programming a plus
• Ability to machine parts using verbal instructions and CAM software
• NIMS training a plus
