Temp to Hire Office Manager Opportunity!
Key Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping & Financial Administration
- Accounts receivable and payable
- Pay bills, enter and pay vendor invoices; reconcile statements
- Deposit checks, track payments, and update invoices
Office & Workflow Management
- Maintain the landscaping & maintenance work list
- Draft, format, and proof proposals;
- Prepare, send, receive, and track maintenance forms that are mailed for seasonal maintenance contracts
- Renew corporate licenses
Scheduling & Customer Service
- Coordinate landscape estimates
- Answer multi-line phones, answer questions, relay messages, and resolve customer claims
- Assist the President with their schedule on an as-needed basis
Inventory & Fulfillment
- Monitor stock levels; order supplies, plants, and hard goods
- Pack and ship online orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
Requirements:
- 3+ years in office management, bookkeeping, or administrative coordination preferred
- Proficiency with Sage is preferred, but not required
- Proficiency with Office Excel and Word, and cloud-based collaboration tools
- Sharp attention to detail and the ability to juggle shifting priorities
- Comfort learning basic horticultural/landscape terminology; industry experience a plus
- Valid Driver's License
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm
- A weekend day is required during the Spring months. Other overtime possible
