DIRECT HIRE Environmental Health & Safety Manager Opportunity!
Seeking an experienced EHS professional to lead environmental, health, and safety initiatives across a diverse workforce of 150 employees, including both manufacturing and office personnel.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage site environmental permits, ensuring compliance, with outside support as required.
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal OSHA regulations
- Create and conduct new hire safety orientations and monthly OSHA-required training sessions
- Serve as the lead investigator for all site safety incidents, leading the root cause analysis and coordinating corrective action plans to prevent reoccurrence
- Collaborate with site management to improve sites safety management systems
- Maintain and update all EHS related metrics, trending the data to identify opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with site leaders to ensure safety needs of production staff are met
- Prepare and maintain site for ISO 14001 and 45001 audits and certifications
- Coordinate annual OSHA required medical testing, including audiometric and pulmonary function testing
- Inspect the facility to identify safety, health, and environmental risks
- Develop health and safety procedures for all areas of the company
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Management, Occupational Safety, or relevant field.
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent
- Certified CPR/AED Instructor (preferred)
