Advanced Comfort Specialists, Inc. has been proudly serving Berks County and the surrounding region since 2004, delivering top-quality HVAC services to both residential and commercial customers. As their team continues to grow, they are seeking a dependable, organized, and customer-focused Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join their office.

Position Summary:

The CSR is the primary call-taker for all incoming service, maintenance, and estimate requests. You will be responsible for scheduling appointments for service technicians and estimators across both residential and commercial accounts. By understanding each department’s strengths and weaknesses—as well as individual technician and estimator expertise and geographic coverage—you’ll build an efficient schedule that maximizes productivity and ensures a smooth customer experience from start to finish

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer and route incoming calls from residential and commercial customers
• Schedule service, preventative maintenance, and estimate appointments
• Assign jobs based on technician and estimator skill set, department capabilities, availability, and geography
• Manage daily scheduling changes and communicate updates with internal teams
• Maintain accurate records in the scheduling system
• Follow up with customers to confirm appointments or resolve service issues
• Support dispatch, office coordination, and team communication throughout the day

Qualifications/Skills:

• 2+ years of customer service, dispatch, or scheduling experience preferred
• Experience in HVAC, trades, or service-based scheduling is a plus
• Excellent phone etiquette and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Comfortable using digital tools, software, and scheduling platforms
• Ability to assess department and individual strengths to assign jobs effectively
• Understanding of local geography for route planning and dispatch efficiency
• High School Diploma or GED

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm

• Pay rate $18-$22/hr., based on experience
