HR Manager Opportunity - Kitty Hawk Kites

The HR Manager facilitates the efficient management and administration of the Human Resources function to include all facets of human resources (payroll, recruiting, training, benefit administration, and the execution of team member relation practices). This position is important to the general public as well as the employees of the company. Confidentiality is of the utmost importance. Strong organization skills are a must.
Essential responsibilities:
- Lead the HR Team with 2 direct reports and oversee all HR functions including: benefits, recruiting, on-boarding, payroll, open enrollment, etc.
- Serve on the senior leadership team as an organizational advisor
- Project planning and implementation of HR strategic initiatives
- Responsible for talent development, career path development, succession planning and all employee relations issues
- Negotiate all employee benefits, conduct open enrollment, process enrollments and terminations, run and submit annual ACA reporting and conduct bi-annual 401k eligibility audits and offerings
- Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local laws concerning human resources (i.e., Federal and State Minimum Wage Laws, Affirmative Action, Immigration Reform Control Act, Equal Employment Opportunity Act etc.)
Requirements:
- Bachelors’ Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or other related field required, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least 5 years of HR experience
- At least 2 years in a leadership role
- Experience with UKG Kronos a PLUS
- Payroll experience preferred
