CPA opportunity!

Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in preparing, reviewing and analyzing financial reports, individual tax returns and business tax returns.

Essential Duties:

• Meet with clients and analyze client financial records
• Identify potential tax deductions and opportunities for savings
• Advise clients on current tax laws and compliance requirements
• Prepare and review bookkeeping, sales tax returns, payroll and tax returns
• Stay up to date with industry trends and changes related to taxation
• Assess and research difficult tax issues to identify solutions
• Offer support and guidance during audits
• Availability to work overtime during tax season

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and active CPA certification
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a tax accountant or in a similar role
• Proven ability to build client relationships and communicate with confidence
• In-depth knowledge of current federal and state tax laws
• Problem-solving and analytical thinking skills to help clients legally minimize tax burdens
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software, particularly QuickBooks
• Valid driver’s license
