Facilities & Security Assistant Manager Opportunity!

Seeking a hands on, proactive Assistant Manager of Facilities & Security who will also serve as the Clery Compliance Officer. This role oversees custodial operations, supports facilities and security functions, and ensures compliance with federal Clery Act requirements.

Facilities & Security Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support custodial staff and outsourced vendors
• Serve as primary point of contact for facilities/security during evenings & weekends.
• Assist with maintenance work orders, scheduling, and prioritizing tasks
• Perform and oversee routine maintenance, minor repairs, and inspections
• Monitor and respond to alarms, emergencies, and hazardous conditions
• Manage card access systems, security software, and CMMS tools
• Coordinate event setups, building rentals, and community use of facilities
• Oversee snow removal contractors
• Maintain records, reports, and inventory of equipment and supplies

Clery Compliance Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the institution's Clery Act compliance program
• Develop and implement Clery required policies and procedures
• Gather crime and disciplinary referral data
• Identify, train, and support Campus Security Authorities (CSAs)
• Stay current on Clery Act updates and related federal regulations

First Year Success Goals:

• Complete Stafford Clery Act Compliance Training Academy (within 6 months)
• Learn and operate key systems: Simplex fire system, Axiom access control, Asset Essentials CMMS, Bosch camera system
• Understand event scheduling and setup processes

Education/Experience:
Required:

• High school diploma or GED
• 5+ years supervisory experience (within the last 5 years)
• 5+ years facilities related experience (within the last 5 years)
• Availability to respond by phone and, as situations dictate, report on-site during evenings, nights, weekends, holidays or other nonstandard hours
• Ability to complete Clery Act training within 6 months
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software
• Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field
• Certifications in facilities maintenance or security
• Experience with security operations
• Knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems, heating systems, and construction materials
• Bilingual English/Spanish
