Job Description:

The Enrolled Agent is responsible for tax preparation, tax representation, meeting with clients, and managing client inquiries. This position will play a vital role in our company ensuring compliance with the law and accuracy in accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Tax return preparing, reviewing and assembling.
• Bookkeeping in QuickBooks.
• Contacting the IRS for client transcripts, notices and general representation.
• Tax research.
• Ability to work overtime during tax season.
• In-person and virtual client meetings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Associate Degree and an active EA Certification with IRS PTIN.
• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience required, prefer 5 years’ experience in a tax profession.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using and creating spreadsheets and formulas.
• Knowledge of tax and accounting concepts.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Strong computer skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office products and accounting software.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
• Valid driver’s license.
