Berks County Manufacturer seeking a Divisional Safety Manager to lead efforts in preventing workplace injuries and illnesses while fostering a strong culture of health, safety awareness, and employee education. This role is responsible for developing, updating, and maintaining safety programs, procedures, and practices designed to control and minimize employee exposure to risks and hazards.

Job duties to include but not limited to:

• Ensures compliance with OSHA, state, local, and industry safety regulations through regular audits and program oversight.
• Promotes continuous improvement in safety performance by supporting management and employee initiatives, conducting root cause analysis, and recommending corrective actions.
• Oversees and develops safety programs (LO/TO, Material Handling, Machine Guarding, Confined Space, etc.) while monitoring effectiveness and implementing improvements.
• Identifies and mitigates workplace hazards, responds promptly to incidents, and maintains high visibility with employees and management.
• Provides leadership to the Safety Committee and H&S team members, prepares periodic reports for the H&S Director, and offers technical and administrative support to the Environmental Health & Safety group.

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Health Sciences, or related field—or equivalent industrial experience.
• Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel; ability to support other systems).
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
• Able to work independently or in a team/managerial role.

Professional certification preferred, not required
